Pretty normal day.

Not that there is such a thing as a normal day in France, but there was nothing extraordinary that happened?

Did laundry for the first time haha. You have to go to the front desk, reserve a block of 2 hours, and then give them an ID card in exchange for the keys to the laundry room, or laverie en francais. So we did that. And you also pay them for your washes and dries. They then give you tokens that you use for the machines. There is also only one washer and one drier, probably another reason you have to reserve. So we did that. Yayyyy clean clothes! But some of my black things got lots of fuzzies on them because a towel was in there also...oops. So we decided we could go to Carrefour after and get a lint roller.

We also went and asked one of the study abroad staff guys about the trips we would be taking as a group, so we wouldn't go there on our own. We are going to go to the Normandy memorial site, from WW2, and Le Mont St Michel. Look that one up. Yes. An island city castle like thing. I can't wait.

So finally at around 3 something we went into town to get a very late lunch, we were starvingggg, and I got a 'roti de porc' sandwich which was delicious, and this bread pastry called 'pain au pommes', so like apple bread. That was for my dinner. Then we headed back to Carrefour to get a lint roller, and I needed some pant hangers and the like. IT was SO crowded. We guessed later it was because of the strike happening the next day everyone was stocking up incase they couldn't get out much? Then we headed back to our dorms and planned all the places we want to go this semester.

There are quite a few places I want to go. It is weird though, when you actually have the opportunity to go, how suddenly you don't know what you would do there. Like, Sweden, or Germany, or Ireland. Yes I want to go there, why not? But at the same time i'm like..uh..what would we do there, where would we go once we got there? Haha. We will figure all that stuff out. We have England, Poland(for Auschwitz), Italy, Greece(maybe, kind of far), some places in France, Scotland, etc etc. We aren't supposed to leave France I don't think until we turn in some form connected with our visa. And we can't turn that in until we get a medical exam, which the school schedules for us. So we are going to travel in France a lot until then! I also got to talk to my mommy on the phone :) YAYY
